Thoughtful clothes.
For little bodies.

For an easy little step.
For a comfortable cuddle.

We care about the clothes — and the everyday life inside them.

THE LITTLE EVERYDAY

The little things.
They matter to us.

A curious sniff, a long stretch, a quiet nudge for a gentle touch. A dog’s day is full of small, unhurried movements.

At A Little Pet, we want clothing to feel at home in that day. To look lovely, and leave them free to be themselves.

BODY & FIT

Every line follows
the body.

The neckline, chest, armholes and belly all relate to movement. We start with the pet’s body, watching the garment as they stand, walk and lie down, then adjusting the room they need.

Twenty years of patternmaking have taught us to begin again with the details.

A good fit reveals itself
in movement.

FABRIC & MAKING

Softness you
can feel.

The loft of plush, the give of a knit, the feel of a collar against the body. We consider these details in wear, finding the right shape for each fabric.

What we look for in a fitting
  1. 01

    Neck

Check that the collar leaves comfortable room when looking down or turning.

  2. 02

    Chest

Check the ease behind the front legs and how the garment sits against the body.

  3. 03

    Back length

Check coverage and room at the tail base against the pet’s proportions.

  4. 04

    Front legs

Watch for pulling at the armholes when walking, lifting a leg or lying down.

  5. 05

    Belly

Consider the hem’s length and curve for everyday movement and cleanliness.
